Shortly after Katie was born, we were given advice from many well-meaning parents
instructing us to capture the baby on video. Never having owned a
camcorder before, I was hesitant but still eager to buy a new toy (for the
baby). After researching VHS, 8mm and MiniDV devices, we finally settled
on this Sony DCS-TRV8 Digital Camcorder. It's a wonderfully compact and
fascinating little video camera, with more gadgets and features than I'll
ever learn how to use.
So here are a few short, home-made movies of my daughter hamming it up for the camera. Each
movie is available in both "wmv" and "mpg" format. You can stream either
format "thru the web", or download them directly - whichever way works best for you. Enjoy!
