Bill Shatner Go Back
Here's a song that'll stick in your brain for years to come. Apparently Bill Shatner is less than shy about his singing career. If you've never heard this before, it's worth the search through the net, because it's really... well, amazing. Say what you will, but this guy's got balls putting this song down.

Below are the lyrics only, and here's a little clip. Go find the whole song in Kazaa or whatever - it's hilarious. I'd offer it up here, but times have changed and copyright laws have not. So sad. So stupid...

"Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"
   - as sung by William Shatner

Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly:
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green
Towering over your head,
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
And she's gone...
   gone... gone... gone... gone...

Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds.

Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking-horse people eat marshmallow pies.
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers
That grow so incredibly high.
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,
Waiting to take you away:
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds
And you're gone...
   gone... gone... gone... gone...

Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds.

Picture yourself on a train in a station
With plasticine porters with looking-glass ties.
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile:
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes...
   eyes... eyes... eyes... eyes...
